After the recent thread I drug out a book I bought several years ago. It's pretty fun. It's called 101 nights of greeeat romance. You pull out something for your eyes only and you're supposed to perform it by the end of the week. There are things for him and for her.

Anyway, I thought someone else might enjoy it.

I love that book! Back before I was married, I gave it all the time for a wedding shower gift. It was always a hit (at least at the party).

I would follow up with a leather NIV bible engraved with the bride's new name (or sometimes both of their names) if appropriate.

The Five Love Languages is still a favorite here too - as mentioned in that thread. Might try to check the bookshelf for more good ones later...

We really liked 5LL, and found practical advice that really worked for us in
Ten Lessons to Transform Your Marriage

here's the blurb:
Through scientific observation and mathematical analysis, the authors could predict—with more than 90 percent accuracy—whether a marriage would succeed or fail. The only thing they did not yet know was how to turn a failing marriage into a successful one, so Gottman teamed up with his clinical psychologist wife, Dr. Julie Schwartz Gottman, to develop intervention methods. Now the Gottmans, together with the Love Lab research facility, have put these ideas into practice. In Ten Lessons to Transform Your Marriage, the Gottmans share this vital information so that couples can develop the skills to turn their relationship problems around and create strong, lasting unions.
