I've debated posting anything as I don't post here a whole lot anymore but the power of the BBB mojo always seems to work.

We may be getting some very disturbing news health-wise in the next week and any thoughts or prayers are very welcome and needed

Thanks :)

Thanks everyone ~ it really means a lot!!!! He just got the results faxed to his office (his partner had ordered the MRI so the report went right there) and everything is fine!!!

DH has had back pain for awhile now and finally decided to get an MRI. He had that done on Saturday. We expected to see degeneration and probably a herniated disc ~ no big deal.
He brought the films home and we were looking at them and saw what could be metastases in some of the vertebrae. He's a DC and reads X-rays/MRI's etc for orthopedic issues but doesn't have the experience to identify pathologies. This was very scary because he has no known tumors and once you have metastases to the bone the survival rate plummets. And typically is 6 months to 2 years.
So our weekend was spend trying not to think about the possibilities until we knew for sure while also trying to celebrate his birthday with the boys.
It has been an absolute roller coaster of a weekend but things are looking up now :)
Thank you again for thinking of us ~ we really appreciate it :) This BBB mojo is very powerful!!!

Congrats on the good news!!! What a relief!

Not to hijack, but just wanted to say - my mom had breast cancer metastisize (sp) to her spine, then lived 11 more years. I must keep reminding myself she lived a long long time and outlived almost every prognosis ever given (even in her last days - 24-48hrs turned into 12 days...)!! She was not a typical patient by any means. :)
