We need to redo the carpeting in our house--the only rooms that are carpeted are DD's room, our art room and our media room (and one flight of stairs).

Has anyone had any experience with any of the greener carpet companies? Or have resources to share?

There is one small store locally (which is really paint store) that sells one type but the pricing is astronomical for the small amount we need.

TIA

Hi there, this article might be of some help: "Making Carpet Environmentally Friendly" http://www.enn.com/green_building/article/23063

Ray Anderson's Interface Corp. was the pioneer in green carpeting - see http://www.interfaceinc.com/what/ for more info. I'm not sure if you can buy directly from the company, or if they have retail outlets.
