hi all--

i am looking for some hip, not too expensive crib bedding for a baby girl. a coworker gave me her pottery barn pale yellow sheep set for when she's a newborn, but i'm looking for something a little older and hipper for when she's 6 mths-end of crib use. i'm definitely not into cutesy (e.g., disney or w/the alphabet) or anything pink-- something modern and geometric, perhaps. since i already have newborn bedding, i thought that i could place this new bedding on my registry as a nice gift for someone to get us.

any suggestions of online sites or brands? thanks!

pottery barn kids has cute stuff.

restoration hardware has a child's line that has very sophisticated stuff.

You can also go to high-end boutiques and pick out your own bedding - not sure how easy that would be for a registry, though. And also not sure what you want to spend - some of those can get really pricey.

I am lucky enough to have a mom who is a talented seamstress and she made DD's bumper, dust ruffle and pillows for the day bed in the nursery and I bought plain sheets that coordinated from Cloud and Stars. I found some funky fabric that I still love when I go into her room. I'm with you - there's only so much disney/poo stuff I could have handled.

Target has some cute cheap bedding - Amy Coe and Dwell - they are more modern and hip than the typical cutesy bedding.

I agree about Target. Check Bed Bath & Beyond as well...they have some nice modern, not cutesy crib prints that you might like. :)

We have the Dwell Studio Circles pattern from target (http://www.target.com/DwellStudio-Target-Bedding-Collection-Circles/dp/B000VP9JGA/ref=sc_pgb_r_2_0_15812551/185-8986380-7380201?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1)

We didn't know what we were having so it was perfect for us. As accent colors, I pulled in the lime green and chocolate brown.

For inexpensive, I think you have to shop the typical places mentioned above. I assume you've already looked those places and haven't found what you want. Here are some other more high end options that seem to have more modern prints.

We just used solid crib sheets for both nurseries from The Company Store. We chose a rug for each room that was geared more for a kid than a baby, so we just picked some sheets from their website that worked. You can find discount or free shipping codes to make it cheaper. I'm not hip, but you may want to check theirs out.
