We're there now! Over the past week DS has said four things, which I know is a completely normal part of growing up, but how do you deal with it?

My parents were visiting last week. My mom is "pleasantly plump". DS starts walking around the room, with his belly leading the way. We asked what he was doing. "I'm walking like Gigi." We were all on the floor, dying, but I don't want him to think that's okay. Then I guess he told her, "Mommy has a baby in her belly, and you have one, too." AHHHHH!!!!

THEN, this weekend we saw two different men with dreadlocks. The first one he pointed to, "Daddy, look at that funny man." The guy the next day had his tucked in a hat. "Mommy, look at his funny head." Ugh...

I told him, it's not funny, he just has a bigger hat to hold his special, long hair. I also said we don't point at people and say things, but I don't know if he gets it.

I know there is more coming...can you prevent it? How do you deal with it? Family is one thing, strangers- :0:
