Which gift card for a preschool teacher?

I'm getting gift card for my ds's preschool teacher ($50) and her aide ($25). Which of these gift cards do you vote for?

Macy's
Borders
Chili's
Amazon
Macaroni Grill
Kohl's

I'm redeeming my credit card reward points for gift cards, so I have a list to choose from.

Those are all really good. When I was teaching I got a gift card to Macy's once and loved that just because it was something different. I've also received them to restaurants and bookstores and those were also very much appreciated. The bookstore and restaurant ones were more popular gifts to receive when I was teaching so Macy's or Kohls might be good because she/he may not get another one like that.

I think the Amazon.com gift card would be the most practical and universal.

amazon is my first choice, because you can shop online for nearly anything there now! and get deals on used books, etc. macy's is my second pick for the variety and fun shopping experience.

I vote for Borders. This is what I gave dd's preschool teachers last year. I think it is a good gift b/c they can either buy something personal or something that will help them professionally/in class, but they would not normally spend money on. Also, just in case you don't know, Borders offers a 20% discount to school staff on school/work related stuff and even has times during the year when they give a discount on anything.

Wow, those are generous amounts. I would go with Macy's or Amazon.

I always choose Borders. I figure teachers would love books, plus Borders has DVDs and music, too. I also like that they can get what they want right away and not have to wait for shipping.
