I am into my breadmaking and the ziploc bags aren't that great for keeping bread. Anyone have a suggestion for something that can sit on my counter and keep fresh bread in it?
Thanks!

I always keep bread in the fridge and it never gets moldy. It takes much longer for it to go stale, too.

We use an old bread box that I've had for a thousand years. (They sell them at (gulp!) goodwills and such for almost nothing.) It works really well.

But we also got a plastic loaf holder from Amazon that also works - it's just a bit tight for Zoji 2 lb loaves.

I use old bread wrappers. :)

Years ago when I made bread weekly, I bought a bread keeper from Tupperware. http://tinyurl.com/622nc6 It did a good job for me. I no longer bake bread, so I just keep regular bread in it.
