This is what I responded in the other (similar) thread, I will try to update over the weekend with some other stuff...

Have you ever seen the Ideals Christmas magazine/book? They always have lots of short stories, poems, verses, etc. I have one here at work from a few years ago, also a Thanksgiving one, and have found things every year in it. Also for Christmas cards that are religous, a verse out of the Bible would work well. Here are a couple quotes/verses/poems that I liked

Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and, behold, everything is softer and more beautiful.
-Norman Vincent Peale

Christmas Greeting- Author Unknown
Sing hey! Sing hey!
For Christmas Day;
Twine mistletoe and holly,
For friendship glows
In winter snows,
And so let's all be jolly.

A Catch by the Hearth- Author Unknown
Sing we all merrily;
Christmas is here,
The day that we love best
Of days in the year.
Bring forth the holly,
The box and the bay;
Deck out our cottage
For glad Christmas Day.
Sing we all merrily;
Draw around the fire,
Sister and brother,
Grandsire and sire.

Also wanted to say thank you to the ladies who posted these. We are going to make Cards for Christmas for a local nursing home this year as a mission outreach from our family and school. Last year we did Stockings for Soldiers and it was a big success, however our other outreach was local. This year our other outreach is overseas (building a school in a 3rd world country) so this is a local endeavor. Anyway, back to the topic, lol, I think having some nice verses will help the kids fill the cards and focus more on the artwork of the season! :)
