Leapster Games

DS just turned 4 and will be receiving the Leapster 2 for Christmas. Does anyone have any favorite Leapster games you're willing to recommend? I'm hoping to be able to use this in the car as we have 4-6 long car rides (40 mins. with no traffic) each week.

My kids love this too! Also Thomas, Cars, Animal Genius and I Spy are ones they love.

DS1 is getting this for his b'day and games for Christmas. I heard there are games on the Leapster without cartridges, is that true? If so, are they suitable for a 4 year old?

Clifford is my son's favorite. He also likes the write and draw program too.

My son loves I Spy and Thomas. He also likes Mr Pencil's Draw and Write, but gets frustrated with it easily.

DD fave is Pet Pals. We got her the Leapster last year and this is the one game she was able to play from the start, she had trouble with the others. She also has Diego, Disney Princess, and Creature Create, she rarely plays any of them. She wants the new Wall-E game for Christmas.

It does come with a couple of games. One game has a bunny jumping logs -- kinda like Frogger- it teaches letters or numbers. It also has a drawing/coloring type game. DD got her Leapster a little while ago, and we have just been doing these two games. "Santa" is bringing a couple more...

TRUS had buy 2 (get one free or 1/2 price -- can't remember which) a few weeks ago...

We have: LeapFrog Letter Factory and Talking Words, Clifford, 2 Dora ones and Santa is bringing a couple more. She likes all of them, possibly the Dora and Clifford ones more.
