Play Christmas Tree

Is there anything like a play christmas tree. DD (2.5 yrs) is crazy about christmas trees and the decorations - she is forever carrying of things into her corner claiming that she is decorating her tree. All she does is stack them up though - I was wondering if there was something I could get her that she could play with - especially decorate it. I am afraid to give her an actual fake tree - she might hurt herself with all the sharp edges.

what about making one out of felt. a simply green triangle with ornaments of varying size, color and shape, also from felt.

the felt will stick to felt. also super cheap and way safe.

as a matter of fact, i think i will do that.
