I'm looking for nightlights that can't be pulled out of the electrical socket. DS is way too interested in removing them, and we have the sliding electrical plates that cover the outlet when he does, but I'm scared he'll touch a plug as he's doing it.

So, I'm trying to find either plates that are half nightlight and half safety cover - or - a nightlight that somehow screws into an electrical plate. Either way, I want it to not be removable. Any ideas?

Safety 1st makes a nighlight that replaces your existing outlet faceplate and therefore screws into the outlet. Here is a link.

Elumina. We have some by elumina that I bought two years ago and are still going strong. They are flush to the wall, and light sensitive on/off. They do have a "bellows" around the plug. I searched for them online and their website is gone. My 4 yr old has not yet pulled them out. The nice thing is that one nightlight plugs into the top prongs, and covers the bottom ones at the same time! They used to be available at Target, Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot. Too bad I can't find them anywhere today online! I wonder what happened...

This one works fairly well for us. And it's LED so it uses less energy:

I have other ones that cover both outlets, but I can't find them on sale anymore.
On edit: I found it at BRU, but out of stock, this is what it looks like:

On edit, again: out of stock at amazon and etoys, but finally found one in stock here:
