I was at Learning Express today and saw these

I was thinking of getting these for my 20 mo DS to build and play with. He loves the Magnatiles at our friend's house but those pieces can be a little too big for his age. The magformers pieces are smaller (measures about 2.5-3" per side) than the Magnatiles. To me these seem easier to grasp for a smaller set of hands due to the size and cutouts from the middle. If anyone has these, please share your thoughts.
