Does anyone have this toy or any of the others in the series? What do you think of them? Are they a useful toy for "taking outside" and playing with?

my son got it for his 1st bday and never liked it but maybe that was just him. The ball doesn't actually come off the whole arm just spins around. It is only about 18" tall as I remember.
