I love the Xmas books that were suggested in another thread (Definitely gonna check out Bear Stays up for Christmas). So, what about Hanukkah books? Anyone have any suggestions?

We're not Jewish, but I have a bunch of Hanukkah books for my kids to expose them to other religions, etc.

A cute one that we read last night is The Chanukkah Guest (by Giora Carmi). I like that it goes through several of the meaningful traditions involved with Hanukkah in a fun way.

I haven't gotten down our big box of Christmas/winter/Hanukkah books yet so I can't remember what else we have.

I like....

Mrs. Greenberg's Messy Hanukkah
Where is Baby's Dreidel?
I Have a Little Dreidel (by Moxie Baum)
Eight Candles for Counting (we have lots of books from this series for various holidays and like them all)

Plus we pull out and read a ton of winter themed books during the season. :)

Favorites at our house are;

Sammy Spider's First Hanukkah

Latkes, Latkes Good to Eat

DK books - "My first hanukkah" board book. At 4 years old, DS still likes this one because it gives a very basic version of the hanukkah story and the miracle that we are celebrating.
