I am looking for inexpensive personalized stockings for my family. I think the PBK stockings are really cute, but with personalization and shipping, I would be paying a lot for 4. Any other ideas? I am looking for something countryish/quilted and a little more religious (not just santa and rudolph, for instance).

Thanks!

Do you need them for this Christmas? I got ours from Lands End when they were on sale after Christmas.

I was searching for the same thing earlier today and saw an earlier post about the needlepoint stockings at jcpenney.com. They are on sale for $12.99, personalization is free, shipping is free over $25 or you can use a discount code (I found the code PRESENTS and it takes off 30%). You can't combine codes, so if you use the 30% off, you'll pay shipping (mine was $7.95 for three stockings). The design options were angel, bear, rocking horse, santa and snowman.

I bought some cute stockings at Kohl's not to long ago. I'm taking them to a local seamstress to personalize them. She's doing it for about $6 a stocking. You might try something like that.

I also have the needlepoint stockings from Lands End. I love them!

I agree with PP- the Land's End stockings are great! You might see if they have any at your local Sears- otherwise take advantage of the free shipping opportunities until the 3rd!

Good luck!

A few years back, I bought a bunch of really pretty stockings after Christmas (75 or 90% off, I think.) Then, I took them to a trophy/embroidery shop for personalization. They look great, and when we add a family member, I can take one of the blank ones to the same shop so they'll still match.
