Does anyone think it would be worthwhile to have a forum for new people to solely introduce themselves? It can sometimes be hard to break into an established community, and while I think we're a very welcoming sort, it can still be intimidating. Just an idea.

My impression was that introductions and welcomes go in the Bios/Due Dates/New Arrivals forum, although some folks introduce themselves in the Lounge, as well.

We could alter the title of the bios/due dates/new arrivals forum to specifically include new introductions. Thoughts?

Yeah, the "New Arrivals" makes me think of new babies, not new arrivals to the board. But the description under the forum name makes sense.

That would work.
