DS1 is getting a new-to-us old mac for Christmas (thanks to a score on CL!). He's about 45in tall, so still too short for a full-sized desk, but kind of tall for 4.5y.
What would make a good desk for a little kid? The computer is big (built-in CRT, so it's kind of deep), plus add the keyboard...
Even though I got the computer on the cheap, we'd like to keep the cost down. IKEA is readily available... would one of their tables make a good desk? (We have the big red plastic one, and DH doesn't think it would.)
