I forgot to add, I love Costco's sleepers -- they run from 3m to 24m. 100% cotton and snaps, no zippers. I hate zipper sleepers, I've zipped up too many tummies in the middle of the night by accident!

i didn't want this to get lost in the fields' reader poll...

does costco have their own brand of sleepers? is it under the kirkland brand name? can't believe i've never noticed them before - i'm probably there once a week! i love costco!

I'm in Canada, so YMMV. I'm not sure if it is a Costco brand, but I've never seen them elsewhere. I think its Peikkle? Probably pronounced pickle, LOL.

They ROCK. I'm so bummed that DD#2 is on the 24m size (they run small IMO, she's still wearing some 18m clothing in other brands).

HTH

okay - now i'm bummed too! i just googled the "pekkle" sleepers and from the chatter, it looks like they are only carried at canadian costcos.

what - are we chopped liver?? why can't they sell the good stuff down here too?? time to bake chocolate candies...

Yeah, but you have Target and we don't. It all kinda works out in the wash, LOL. And, you definitely get better stuff at Costco in the US generally speaking -- for example, Piglet got Uggs recently. Never seen those at a Costco in Canada. We do get Kindersurprise, though....

i'm not even going to ask what kindersurprise is! we need to socialize costco - everything must be equal! fwiw - target is located much closer to me than costco and i rarely go there )

Sold everywhere except the US. Wiki article explains it. Kids love them. And, they aren't that bad nutritionally -- they are hollow, so not as much chocolate as you'd think from the size.

My DD asks for "one of those chocolate eggs" (Kindersurprise!) EVERY time we are going through a checkout! She rarely cares about the toy - she just loves the egg. I had no idea they were not available in the USA. I hear the same thing about Smarties... there are really no Smarties in the USA?? (heehee - sorry for the hijack - sort of hijack, anyway!)

Our smarties are not the same as yours - you got the better end of that deal. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smarties

Interesting! Smarties (the Canadian version) are great and a classic 'first chocolate' treat (a little bigger than M&M's, easy to chew etc) for alot of kids. Smarties, the American version, on the other hand, are most often found here around Halloween, under the name 'Rockets'. I love me some Rockets, too! :18:

And, most (not all) Smarties in Canada are PEANUT FREE! :) That is HUGE for those of us who have peanut-allergic children.

I did start seeing those peanut Smarties, but they seem to have disappeared. I wonder if there was too much backlash from the fact that they are widely known to be peanut free (like Melissa said, not all, but most). My friend, whose son has a peanut allergy, was quite upset to see those peanut Smarties.

My introduction to Smarties came at Dairy Queen. There is no M&M blizzard here, the closest thing is made with Smarties. I'd never even heard of the US version (I am not a candy person) before moving here. Mmmm blizzards :)

And, McFlurry's (at McDonalds) in Canada come in the Smartie version. They are a favorite in our house! :)

i think it's time for a road trip to bc... for all the wrong reasons :D

our smarties are okay... in a "eat them once a year from dd's halloween bucket" kind of way - there's just no comparing sweet tarts to chocolate!

You can find Kindersurprise in the US - european specialty stores mostly but I've seen them at World Market as well. I know I've seen them elsewhere but can't remember where... I want to say Target because it's somewhere I go often.
