If only I had ordered a few weeks ago...

Anyway the Apple House play Set:
http://www.magiccabin.com/magiccabin/product.do?section_id=1&bc=1004&pgc=2278&sv=333340&cmvalue=MCD%7C1%7C%7C333340%7CFEATURES%7CFP3

is discountinued. It is a soft tree that opens up with a little house inside for 4 animals. Can anyone suggest something similar? Basically, I am looking for a soft, non-plastic playset for DD.

THANK YOU!!

This puffy tea set is cute, but I'm not sure if all you are looking for is something soft and puffy, or something specifically soft and puffy with animals.

What $-range are you looking for?

Or a home for forest animals?

There are some mamas who make felt playmats (very Waldorf looking). I've made one for my own kids. YOu can paint on a big piece of wool blend felt, or needlefelt it (honestly, needlefelting isn't very difficult). There may be etsy or hyenacart moms that make them. I made ours with a stream, a little pond, a felted wool tree (it is 3-d), some rocks/boulders, etc. There was a woman at the site motherhues that used to do them, but I'm not sure if she's selling anymore. I can't find her site anymore. SHe used to be on Amitymama and Mothering.

PBK is making some stuff now you might be interested in:

these aren't exactly what I was thinking of, but here are some approximations:
Honestly, you could probably figure out how to paint something fun (a basic stream, a meadow, etc.) and make it for very little $$.
