We have a very old home with narrow hallways and small doorways. Many of the uphosltered rocker/glider chairs are too large to fit into our nursery. Do any of the upholstered chairs require assembly? We don't mind "trapping" the chair in the nursery!

Check out the school supply sites like Lakeshore Learning. The daycare I work out ordered a glider this fall that needed assembled. It is rather large though.

Have you looked at any of the traditional lay-z-boy type rocker/recliners?
We bought a small one and we were able to remove the entire back of the chair to get it up the stairs and into the nursery. It just popped off and snapped back into place.

Thanks! That's exactly the kind of info I was hoping for! I really like the Little Castle chairs, but I don't know if the back would come off. I'll check out the Lay-Z-Boy ones though!
