Need FP Dollhouse help

The bigger FP dollhouses are so confusing. I think I like this one for DD

but am I right in assuming it has been discontinued and this is old stock? It is not on the FP website. There is a used one for $50 I could get, but it does not come with anything. I am wondering how hard it would be to find the "stuff". It sounds like some of the people/animals interact with some of the built in things, so I would like those particular people if that is the case. Can someone enlighten me please? Thanks.

This is an older version, maybe 2 years old? I bought those people from Target about 3 years ago (I wanted them for a different dollhouse). The people currently available on the FP site are very similar.

I thought the one from Wal-Mart comes with a little bit of furniture. I'd rather buy a new one for just a few dollars more. Plastic fatigue concerns me. They usually have them in stores, right?

Thanks for the help. I was thinking DD would like the sounds, but it seems like it might be too hard and expensive to track down the right parts and people. Thanks for the Walmart tip. I am off to TRU and a local store today so it's good to know what a good price is.
