Darnit! I just ordered the 5 qt off amazon on black friday and paid the exact same amount. Mine is red, but I don't really care about the color. It has already come, but should I return it and order this one? Is there really that much difference? We will probably not use it every day. Maybe a few times a month.

Oh, that is so tempting! My 5-qt. KA has been ill and unusable since last Christmas, and I haven't yet made the 45-minute drive to the authorized repair shop to get it fixed...and it would likely cost $75-$100 to fix it...with no guarantee of it working great.

Spend twice that to have it almost immediately, a color I like better, and a more powerful motor and larger bowl? Maybe I can get an early Christmas present!
