Anyone have the Ugg Cardy

I love the knit Uggs, but does anyone have them that lives in a snowy area of the country? Can you wear these in rain/slush/snow without getting soaked?

The saleslady told me you can, but I am not sure I believe her.

I own them and you cannot wear them out in the elements. Unlike most Uggs, the top is not lined, so your foot is not enveloped in the fuzz. I love the look of them, but they are not my favorite Uggs (I made the mistake of wearing socks with them b/c my feet get cold and now the slip on the heel).
