Gap Warmest Jackets/Snowbibs extra 40% off today

Sorry this is posted late, but just got home. Most jackets and bibs are marked down to $32.99 (but it varies by color) and they're an extra 40% off the markdown. If you open a Gap card you get an extra 15% off. I got jacket/pant sets for both kids for next year for $75.

How do you get the extra 40%? I'm not seeing it anywhere online - is this just in the store?

They are really nice. The bright pink is really cute for girls. My DD is wearing a coat from ON and this is much better quality. My niece has worn hers for 2 winters and it's still in great condition. I have never bought a Children's Place coat (just a vest, but it wasn't worn a whole lot so can't comment on the quality) , but I would think Gap would be better.

I buy the warmest coat from Gap for all my kids each year. I have checked out Old Navy's coat and Gap's is much nicer and warmer. You pay more, but you definitely get more. 40% off is a fabulous deal.

Thanks! Now I have another question! I called and they have a 4/5 in black and a 6/7 in pink. They are not sized like that online which is strange. Anyway, I usually size up in coats for my DD who is 4 so I don't know which size to get. How do they run? Since the sale is today only I don't have time to run there with her to try them on, I'm just going to order over the phone.

Wonder if they are quoting you the right coat? I got DD a 5 and DS a 4. My SIL got the same sizes for her kids....I didn't see any sized like that? I think Gap is pretty generous. DD wears a 4 or 5 on top and a 4 on bottom in most brands, and a Gap 4 is fine.

I'd say they run fairly large. I bought the silver/fur coat for my DS a couple of months back in size 5T. He's only 3.5 but wears size 5 in Baby Gap. The coat absolutely drowns him right now - way too big (and he's tall for his age - 43"). He'll get use out of it next winter and possibly the one after that! Another option would be to buy both sizes over the phone, and return the one that doesn't work out -that way you are covered :-)

I bet they are quoting you the ones in the kid gap line...they are XS, S, etc. which would cover two sizes. I was in the toddler sizes at Baby Gap.

On my gosh! Thank you ladies so much! I just called back and they did quote me the wrong coat! I got the warmest jacket in pearl for $20 something! I get such high when I get a good buy! Thanks fo much!

Thanks OP - we just stopped by Baby Gap on the way home from work and picked up the red warmest jacket ($29.99 less 40%) and the silver/fur jacket ($40 less 30%). What a great deal - thanks so much for the heads up!

The only sad thing, when I was checking out the cashier told me yesterday the coats were 40% off plus an extra 25% off! I asked if I could use one of my % off coupons and she said no, not stackable with this deal. Bummer, but still a great buy :-)

If the store nearby, just stop by; maybe you would be just as lucky as I was. The 40% off sale officially ended. However, today when I walked by a Baby/Kid Gap store w/o knowing it already done since the sign 40% on jacket was displayed on the front window. I price checked & politely pointed out that the sign was still in display on the front store window so they gave me the 40% discount on a toddler warmest jacket==>$19.xx. :>))) It costs just $5 more than the ON but much better made!

My husband told me I was sooo lucky. I told him it's legit; the sign in front of the store was huge & could be falsified ad if they didn't honor me the 40% off after I spend all that time to search for the jacket. %>)

Today, they were an extre 20% off in store. So that came out to be about 55% off. I am hoping to do better for next year. But thanks OP! I'm on the lookout for a great coat deal!
