Chirstmas at Disney World-Itinerary Needed

I'm in need of ideas and advice from anyone but particularly parents who have been to Disney during Christmas to the New Year.

Is there any Parks to avoid? I read once that the Magic Kingdom closed it gates at 11 am due to full capacity on Christmas Day! Goodness.

We are planning a 5 day trip with a 5 yo and a 2.5 yo.

For visiting during that week, especially if you are WDW novice, I would use Tour Guide Mike. It plans an intinerary for you, what parks what days, etc. If you go to disboards.com there are coupon codes.

Yes, you need a touring plan, but still expect it to be wall-to-wall people most of the time. That is the absolute busiest week at WDW, and parks will close if they hit capacity, although as I understand, if you stay onsite, you are still allowed in. Read about baby swap and the fastpass system, and understand how to use them, too!!

I definitely agree with Beth's TG Mike suggestion. It'll be the best money you spend on the trip, and it details exactly what to do, step by step.
