I know this should be in the cooking forum but I was hoping for a quick answer.

Has anyone ever done the bisquick sausage balls in a frying pan rather than the oven?

Realized this morning that my oven is dirty because of the drippy ham yesterday....so wondering if I could throw them in the frying pan? TIA!

I would think they would cook too quick on the outside and not get cooked inside if you did them in a frying pan.

Let us know though. I make sausage balls all the time and had never thought about frying them.

Well, I decided to do it the old-fashioned way and clean the oven first....then cook them in there after all! I think you are right Ann, I decided it wouldn't cook them well in a frying pan....thanks for your advice!

I know, cleaning the oven is pretty unheard of around my house...they better have enjoyed them.
