www.starfall.com is a favorite for both my 5.5 & 3.5 yo's! It teaches ABCs and reading. LOVE IT!! AWESOME site!

I discovered this one through our local library kids links and my 4.5yo DD likes it quite a bit. Good graphics, loads pretty easily, and lots of variety.

Even better if your child is in a French Immersion program or knows some French as they have everything in French as well.

Lots of links here: (lots to filter through and many of these are for older kids, but there are some great sites listed. The woman who runs this site is a regular MDC poster and her website has tons of great links and info)

thanks everyone for the great suggestions. i'm going to bookmark each of these so that it is easy for dd (or dh) to find. she usually only gets computer time when dh is watching her and he always finds crazy games. they are not educational (or beneficial in any way) and are usually not age appropriate so dd ends up sitting on his lap wathcing him play.

CommonSenseMedia.org is also a great site to use. They rate websites by age level, and parents can post reviews of them there too. I use it when my 5 yo gets bored of her "regular" sites to find new ones to try.
