Transformers-like toys?

DS got a Transformers toy for Christmas. Are there other toys like Transformers that aren't in the same line? DS's favorite aspect is that the toy changes from a vehicle to a robot figure. I think he would like something else too that has an aspect like this.

I like the Lego sets that make several vehicles from the same bricks, but DS is still too young to really play with these well.

My 3.5 year old got this one and he loves it... it's not all that difficult to transform.

My 3 year old is obsessed with Iron Man and saw a commercial for this and was asking for it
