My CC was compromised!!!!

I was one of the people who was misled by the great deal on the diapers on that "everythingforchild" website earlier this month and AMEX called me just now that charges had been made on my card.:32: They were all small charges, less than $40 each but AMEX caught them right away. If you also ordered those super cheap (yeah right) diapers from that questionable site earlier this month make sure you take a close look at your account!!!!!!

I didn't do it, but I've had it happen for weird things before. They catch it, call you, and reissue you a new card. I felt like it was easily dealt with and I was on my way to internet shopping again shortly.

That sucks. I'm so glad they caught it quickly. I always worry about that when I see a deal that others might say is too good to be true, but I've gotten so many real deals that way that I often ignore the little nagging voice that tells me to be careful.

Im so sorry about your credit card. Luckily AMEX was able to catch it in time. I get nervous whenever I order something from a site that I am not familiar with sometimes. But the lure of a great deal sometimes is just too much.

I always order online using AmEx for this reason. I had fraudulent charges on my card earlier this year, and they caught it and contacted me right away.
