A number of wonderful folks on this board gave me much needed support a few weeks ago -- and I wanted to write and update and say that we saw the baby's heartbeat via ultrasound today for the first time! Measuring 6 weeks 5 days, with EDD august 23rd (my mom's birthday :)

We're hoping and praying for a healthy baby and a safe delivery -- thanks for your prayers and support!

Thanks so much, everyone! Yes, that hearbeat is the most wonderful sound. DH and I were elated to hear/see it.

I'm working on staying low key and doing my regular routines in an effort to hold off the severe anxiety and isolation that plagued me during my first pregnancy. So far, so good!
