We've been working on getting DS back in routine and back in his crib since returning from weeklong holiday trip to Grandma's. I was using Weissbluth's schedule and Ferber's CIO/check on schedule.
Retraining for night is going pretty well, but he'll have nothing of daytime naps!
We go through the regular routine, he passes out during nursing, and I wake him a bit as I walk him into his room----which all used to work. When I walk into his room, he wails. Put him in crib, wails. Leave, wails. Check on every 10 mins. Give up and get him out at 30. He proceeds to play and go about his day but is GROUCHY!
I know Weissbluth's recs change at 9 mos, which DS almost is, but I'm on hold at the library, so I've experimented changing the times on my own. No luck.
Tips???? Help! DS went to bed early last night from exhaustion and was up promptly and happily at 4:40! Mommy no do 4:40! Mommy no do crabby baby all day with no naps!
