Help! What do you think about this coat?

I got it as a gift and am not sure whether I should keep or return for a store credit. Will it make me look old? I hope to wear it with jean as well as dresses/skirt.

I don't think it would make you look old at all! With that said though, it really depends on what you wear on the inside. It's a very classy silhouette. I think you'd have to keep your clothes form fitting (or rather, fit properly instead of frumpy).

Ohhh....I love it. I really, really love it. I think it would go great with jeans or with dresses/skirts. I don't think it is "old" at all.

I am not that old. 27. If that makes a difference. ;)

I like the first coat, but I like deeper colors, so between the two, I would choose the second one. So, maybe it is not so much the coat itself but it maybe the color that you are not so fond of?

Honey, if that thing makes you look old, then I'm ancient. I think it's awesome. So classy. I'd go for it. Then again ... I really like the 2nd one, too.

Both coats are really cute. I do not think the first one is "old" looking at all. It's very lady like and sophisticated IMO.

Either coat would be great....you just need to think about 'how' you want to wear it. While I think #1 would be cute with jeans it would be a dressy jeans look--not a at the park with the kids coat--but more a meeting friends at ____ look.

The second seems more versatile / less dressy. I would prefer the 2nd as a casual coat and the first as a work coat. HTH Only the first seems better w/skirts.

It would be great with jeans or something dressier! Very stylish, and definitely not old!

Personally, though, I'd probably go with the second because I'm a SAHM and very rarely need to dress up....so I'm not sure I'd get my money's worth out of the first one. It would look great with jeans, but maybe only dressier jeans outfits, KWIM, not my usual t-shirt/jeans/Privos days....

But you're good either way!! What a nice gift!
