Romantic Getaway in Massachusetts or close by?

I'm looking for a romantic getaway in the Massachusetts area (or an area close by). I am open to any suggestions or recommendations.

there are a dozen really cute inns located on commercial street in provincetown. it's a great time of year to visit. food is super. the beach is never more than a walk away. we love taking day trips there.

anywhere really on cape cod, you can't go wrong.

we are from cape cod and decided to do our winter honeymoon in eastham. stayed at the http://www.whalewalkinn.com/index.html the owners are GREAT. just 20 minutes away from homebase. we love the cape. it is romantic and fun. dh and i both born and raised. and we wouldn't leave if you paid us a million dollars.

we prefer the dennis and east end of cape cod. much more undisturbed land to discover and enjoy.

Martha's Vineyard - Edgartown (although much is closed in the winter.) There are tons of B&Bs.

Western Mass - Lenox, Amherst and Northhampton.

South Coast - Marion - not far from Newport, RI.

North Shore - Newburyport, Gloucester or Rockport.

NH, right over the Massachusetts border - Portsmouth

I don't mind ocean destinations in the winter. If you'd rather be inland, Western Mass is great.
