Which sites do you use to buy airline tickets? Is there a day of the week or time of day that usually has the best prices?

TIA

I search with Travelocity, then I go directly to the airline site to buy (saves the third-party fees and there are usually more options).

Some say that searching just after midnight saves as that is when the system dumps seats back in, but I am not sure if it actually works. Tuesdays and Saturdays are supposedly the cheapest travel days.

I always use Orbitz. :)

If you can use Southwest, it is best to down load Ding. It can save you $20.00 off their cheapest published tickets or more off of the other ones.

Kayak.com is amazing. Just make sure you have your pop-up blocker off before entering info. With Kayak, you can narrow down nearby airports, departure/arrival times, prices, length of travel....anything you can imagine.
