I'm so excited about the idea of swapping books -- I have tons, and I tend to read reasonably popular books (lots of former NY Times bestsellers & books from the talk-show circuit).

So I joined BookMooch. I have given away about 11 books....... but from my 40+ "to read" pile, I've only found 2 available to Mooch. I'm not hugely picky, I don't think, but I just can't find anything to take!

So what I would like is a site with lots of traffic, lots of users. Any tips?

I don't use it, but I have heard good things about paperbackswap.com (I am pretty sure that is it, I will double check and edit if I am wrong!)

Have you checked out Paperback Swap (http://www.paperbackswap.com)? I had great success there. I'm actually terrible about sending the books, so I don't use it much anymore, but when I wasn't overwhelmed by work and had actual free time, it was great.

I love paperbackswap.com. But it's best to put things on your wish list and as soon as it's our turn they offer it to you. I have been doing it for two years and I have recieved over 200 books. Even books with long wait lists move pretty quickly.

Where's that popcorn-eating smiley when you need it, LOL ;)

I've been meaning to sign up for one of these. Thanks for starting the thread!

I just joined swaptree and my two books have a choice of over a thousand trades! This could be addicting!
