acne scar

[feeling badly]

Hi

I am feeling really badly because my 5 month old baby had a pimple on his cheek and I popped it. Now he has a small scar and I feel awful about doing it. Has anyone else done the same thing? How did you get over it?

Please reply. I need to know that I am not some horrible mother.

Assuming the pimple was small...it will go away. There have been plenty of cuts and scrapes with sharp fingernails here and not a scar to be seen after a while, and we never treated them with anything. Don't worry-because you were there to see it happen, i am sure it looks worse to you. In a couple of weeks, it will be gone, presumable replaced with a different bang-up.

I was going to ask the very same question! Only DC is 4 months old and has had acne on and off for 3 months now. DC has this one scar from ? his having gouged it with his nail. It hasn't gone yet. Really want to know whether it will go away on its own and if there's anything I can do to help.

you can always put some vitamin E liquid on-that stuff is great for scars
