Tennis Shoes for Boys

I have a 6 yeard old boy who wears a size 3 shoe. The boy wears through shoes like there is no tomorrow. I end up buying him new tennis shoes way before he ever grows out of them because it seems like they just fall apart. Has anyone encountered a tennis shoe that will hold up to a crazy 6yo boy? A bargain price would be great too!

Well, I have a crazy 3 year old boy, and the ones we've found don't fall apart are the Keens. He's worn through or worn out just about every other pair--and since he's outgrowing a pair every 3 months, that takes some work. He's in the Keen Briggs now, I think, and they're awesome! I think we got ours for something like $30 on sale--not super cheap, but well worth it, IMO. We're definitely going Keens for his next pair, too.
