I found this at Target today for $25. I read some reviews on amazon, and they were mixed. DS is almost 14 mo. Do you think I should keep this or return it?

Is that the one with the molded roads in it? If so, I really like it. My kids, up until recently have had issues with knocking their train tracks apart while playing with them. I am soooo sick of re-building. I saw the step two one last yr and told my DH I wish it had existed when we were in the market for a train table. It would have caused me a lot less grief. Plus, I think the price you got it for is awesome! Keep it! FWIW, I think that traditional train tables are not worth it, b/c when your child is old enough to build a train track, they are not going to build a little one that will fit on a train table, it will be sprawled all over the floor. My kids use their train table more for legos and other building toys than for their trains.

We have one and it's okay. My kids play with it plenty and whenever other kids come over it gets played with. For $25 I would get it. We paid $35 for ours and it's been worth it.

Which Step2 deluxe table is it? They make 2 different ones. I was thinking of getting the Canyon style, not sure...

Was it a fluke bargain? Like a return from an online order or was your Target "stocked" with these tables?
