I am hoping someone knows of a great deal on magnatiles. DD and DS loves it when they are at friends' houses. Thanks in advance.

I bought mine from here a year or so ago. It looks like they are on sale...though I'm not sure if it's a good deal.

Take10 should give an additional 10% off.

I bought from here http://www.highreach.com/scripts/prodList.asp in October for 104.99 with a 20% off code. I don't have a current discount code but maybe someone on the board does? The shipping was slow but it arrived and I wasn't in a hurry so it wasn't a big deal for me. We love Magnatiles in this house. I have a 2 y/o and 4 y/o and it gets used everyday. We have the 100 piece clear and may need to invest in another set in the future since they are beginning to build more complex structures and the "squares" are always being fought over.

I purchased from High Reach also just before Xmas. It was also with a code. Can't wait to see if someone has a code. We need another set.

Lakeshore Learning Store sells Magnatiles, and they had a 20% off coupon, good until 1/31/2009 - I'm not sure if the coupon could be used online or just in the store. I used mine already, so I don't have it in front of me, but you might search and try and find a code or see if anyone has a coupon they won't be using.

If you have a Lakeshore store near you, you could always call the store and ask if they had an extra coupon you could use.

I bought our set from edufuntoys a year ago.

I bought full price from Edufun but they shipped fast and are a much loved toy in our home.

We'll probably add a 2nd set eventually.

I am interested in getting a set too. If anyone has a good deal/or coupon code to share, that would be great! Thanks so much.

Wow, That sounds like a good deal. However, I just checked and it is out of stock already! Thanks for sharing though. Looks like I will need to wait for it to be restocked or take the other deal at discount school supply.

They're such great toys that it's almost worth it to buy them when u can find them in stock even without a coupon. My kids are playing with them non-stop lately.

My 5 yr old son played with these at a kid's playplace and loved them too. Can someone tell me why they are so expensive? They are plastic with magnets, aren't they? Also, I assume buying the 32 piece set is not going to get us very far, is that true?

Thanks!

We bought TWO 100 pc clear sets on sale (highreach?) and LOVE them.

Use them DAILY.

It's the most used toy in the house...and we have a toy store!

Not sure why they are so expensive...seems like a lot for plastic, but it IS worth it.

We have 100 pieces, and need twice that.

We have two 100 piece sets that I bought last year for $62 something each plus shipping. We've only opened the one box... it gets rare play and ummm... not so popular here. I'm hoping that he just needs to grow some... then he'll play with them at 5 or so. Right now, we build and he trashes it. That's how we play.

We got DS a 100 piece set for Christmas and he loves it. He started out by making flat shapes and patterns and then started building pyramids and buildings with them. All of us love this toy.

We've got 2 100 piece sets, too. We've had them since Christmas 2007 and they get a lot of play.

We got a small set a year ago when DD was just 3. She played with it a bit, but really got interested and started building large complex structures shortly before her 4th birthday. We love them - they are one of the few toys that we all (adults, older cousin, etc.) enjoy playing with.

$62? When and where did you get it for that?!

I just emailed you through his board but wanted to post here in case you don't get the email. I would LOVE to buy your magnatiles from you if you're willing to part with them. Thanks! :)

No, I'll hold on to them until DS2 gets old enough to play. Hopefully, the idea of building together will be more attractive to them. I got such an incredible deal that I can hold on to them. I had a 40% off code to high reach learning last year.
