Does anyone know of a diaper bag that looks more like a purse or handbag? I'm not looking for anything too expensive, but if the bag was right - I would be willing to pay.
Thanks!

It depends on your budget. Are you talking about $50-$100 or more than that?

There are tons of diaper bags that look like purses. Some brands that I can think of off the top of my head include skip hop, fluerville, kate spade, oioi, storksak.

Here's a few links:

I have the Skip Hop City Chic (http://skiphop.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=SH&Category_Code=DB&Product_Code=41000)... When I was looking for a diaper bag, I was looking at these ones:

Fleurville Lexie Tote http://fleurville.com/product/lexie-tote
Reese Li Lexington http://reeseli.com/new/thumbs.asp?C=Lexington%20Baby%20Bags
Dwell Studio Charlotte Diaper Tote http://dwellshop.com/b2c/ecom/ecomEnduser/items/xt_itemDetailNF.aspx?oFamily=CHARLOT-BB&siteId=1&itemNum=BB100-22-00&bulkexists=0
Nest North South http://www.nestchildren.com/bags16.html
Nest Quilted http://www.nestchildren.com/bags10.html
Nest Whipstitch http://www.blissliving.com/nest-whipstitch-leather-diaper-bag---black.html

My favorite is actually the Whipstitch... but it was way too much for me =) My husband was already complaining about the price of the SkipHop (Do you really have to spend that much on a diaper bag?!)... how much more if I got the Whipstitch? :)

How big of a bag are you looking for?

I have one of these BabyMel Amanda bags, though they are hard to find in the US (there are a few black floral ones on ebay right now!). Large enough for me to pack essentials for a toddler and infant.

I've heard good things about the fleurville rerun hana also:

I have a fleurville sling tote too. You can find lots of these for a good deal on ebay.

I've heard lots of mamas really like the storksak emily also, but that one was out of my price range!

You can find great deals on new or gently used bags at the babybags yahoo group. Be warned though, it can be addictive! The ladies are very nice about offering help and suggestions as well!

Good luck!

Mia Bossi bags are very purse-like, but they're also pretty pricey.

I like Skip Hop! Target also has a version of Skip Hop called Spark. They have a new one out that looks like the Studio Tote, but it's not on the Target website yet. It was 32.99 at my Target.

Here's the Studio Tote on the Skip Hop website: http://www.skiphop.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=SH&Category_Code=DB&Product_Code=21500

And the City Chic from Skip Hop: http://www.skiphop.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=SH&Category_Code=DB&Product_Code=41000

Baby Universe (babyuniverse.com) is having some killer deals right now. I believe that they have the City Chic for pretty cheap.
