Allergy or intolerance t ored dye #40

Do any of you have experience with red dye #40 intolerance? I think DD (4yo) might have an intolerance to it. She seems to throw up a small amount of whatever she has just ingested if it has red dye#40.

Yes! He goes from sweet and managable :2: to over the top of the heap :29: very quickly. We are just starting Feingold for him (focus on dyes and preservatives).

Whenever I eat anything with red #40 in it, I throw up. Can't tell you the rhyme or reason behind it (allergy, food intolerance, who knows?), but I've had problems with it for as long as I can remember. I do okay (usually) with lower concentration foods, but if it's the color of Kool-Aid, I stay away from it!
