when do i switch DD from high chair to booster seat?

Well, since I'm on #3 and have never owned a high chair...whenever you want!

Other answer - we have a booster with a tray that we use as a high chair. We move from that to a lower back, no tray booster, at about 11 months. Mostly because we move to a plate at the table instead of the tray at that time. THen, around age 2, we've moved to a Cooshie booster. But, I have friends who use the high chair until age 2 or so.

your dd is the same age as my DS - and we don't have a high chair - ( we sold in a garage sale)
we have the fisher price booster seat - I don't have the tray part - which I think would be better for him.

DS2 used the high chair until he was 2ish.
