Oh, Thanks everyone for the congratulations. :hug5: back to everyone.

It was a good day. DH took the day off work, we went to DS's first T-ball practice. Traffic was awful around the LA convention center and I was getting mighty stressed as we were late and DH wouldn't change lanes to go around all the turning traffic. And someone was back seat driving which annoyed DH :innocent: But we got there before the service started. DH and DS sat with me, and we realised they weren't supposed to, but it was too late for them to change seats. So DS was beside me, he stood with me while I said the oath and anytime people clapped he waved the American flag. He was very very cute, or handsome I should say as apparently "girls are cute, and boys are handsome". Later tonight I asked him about today and he said I did a good job!

We were going to go out for a nice dinner, but I was tired. We had a long wait at the ceremony (5996 other people becoming citizens too), and the traffic was jammed up leaving downtown. So, I convinced DH that In N Out burger was a perfect first meal as an American, plus a glass of very good red wine.

I still have some paperwork with social security and need to get a passport, and then I'm all done.

Having wished many times for an In N Out burger after moving here, I totally agree! Hope you had a wonderful dinner.
