View Full Version : Any reason I shouldn't finish up some prenatal vitamins?

I'm absolutely not pregnant or breastfeeding. And I don't plan to be right now. But I have some prenatal vitamins I didn't finish from my last pregnancy and I was wondering why not just use them up rather than buy something else.

Is there any safety reasons I shouldn't use them? I"m not taking any other vitamins and I"m not on any medications.

As long as they aren't expired. :) A prenatal is just a multivitamin with a little more folic acid. I actually never took prenatals, just a multi and an additional folic acid supplement.

Oh, shoot. I didn't even think about that. I'd better check. Thanks for reminding me. :)

I take prenatals all the time as my regular multivitamin. I'm not as careful about taking the right dosage every day when I'm not pregnant or nursing, though. I don't always feel like taking 3 pills!

What, you don't want to try for one more girl?

(I know, extremely poor taste octo-joke...)

I'm finishing up a bottle of prenatals right now - and I am *definitely* not pregnant or nursing!

(A very close friend of mine has triplets and we've been making "try for one more girl" jokes for two days now.)
