I used to have 17 strollers, but I've changed my ways when we adopted our daughter and all our money went out the door with paperwork. :)

I have a pink Quest that I love, and a BJCMD. However, my middle guy is almost 3 and only likes to ride occasionally. I'm getting a little tired of lugging around a double, but I feel guilty pushing him in a pink stroller.

So, I'm looking for something REALLY COOL that could be for boys. Ideas?

How about the Maclaren Spitfire with the camouflage liner?

We have a red and black Silver Cross Pop that looks pretty cool.

How light weight are you looking for? Most are going to be heavier than the Quest. There are some really great colors/patterns coming out for '09. Also, the Quinny Zapp is super cool, but it weighs 18 pounds, vs. 13 for the Quest. The Peg Si' is coming out soon, and that looks cool. We don't know the final weight on it yet, though.

i can't think of anything new or exciting. i would get the bjcm. if you want to go lighter, then maybe another mac.

I've never tried one of these IRL, but it looks like a good deal ($88 at Albee Baby) and has recline, adjustable leg rest, etc:

Holy cow, that "Spitfire" is PERFECT...though you're right, pricey. Is it really $600 before the sale? What makes it so expensive?

I'd like to stay around 13-17 lbs, but I'm looking more for something compact and just utterly "cool." :D My little men deserve to ride in style. HA HA!

Thanks for the ideas!

The Uppababy G-lite is super light--8.3 lbs (I believe). It was modeleda after the Maclaren volo, but in my opinion, it has cooler features--e.g., it can stand upright on its own when collapsed. And it is lighter than the Volo. Comes in 4 colors--a sage/green, blue, red, and black.

If you are interested in the Uppa Baby G-lite, the G-luxe has a recline and is also super light. I never did get to see one in person though. The Silver Cross Dazzle has a cool very design pattern on the seat. If you go to
http://www.silvercrossamerica.com/dazzle_stroller.php
and put your arrow over the stroller then the pattern comes up on the side. The Maclaren Quest is also great and they have "mod" patterns. I researched lightweight strollers a lot recently before a trip because I'm tired of the huge folded size of my Metrolite. If I hadn't lucked into finding a used Pop for $20, I would definitely buy the Peg Perego Si' that's coming out in April. It has EVERYTHING-large canopy, full recline, car seat compatible, cup holder, big basket, suspension wheels, adjustable handles, stands upright when folded, cool colors (I like orange aka "Papaia"), and it's (supposedly) only 12 lb! I think Strollerqueen called it the best lightweight stroller for 2009. I still want one, but it's hard to justify when DD prefers carriers (or walking). So I'm considering getting a Beco Butterfly 2 just to give my Ergo a break (and because I love those cool patterns).

I forgot to mention the one-hand fold on the Si' too. And the canopy folds down quite a bit farther than it looks on the pictures.

Strollerqueen has a review of all the 2009 stroller models on her website. You have to pay a few dollars to access it but it's totally worth it.

I just read the post saying the new peg perego si will be only 12 pounds, be car seat compatible, with full recline, and the basket under it looks BIG. That sounds too good to be true. I looked on their website but it didn't say how much it would weigh. Where did you read about it? I was thinking about buying the MacLaran quest, but maybe I should wait (if I can) until april....

That's weird that Peg Perego's site doesn't list weights on any of their strollers. I found out about the Si from Strollerqueen's 2009 review, but the weight's also posted on a few blogs like these:

Hold me back! I am completely in love with both the Si and Dazzle. Oooh, Strollerqueen, which one would you pick if you could only pick one??

Thank you Goldenpig for the great recommendations, and thank you to EVERYONE for your awesome suggestions. :cheerleader1:

Weight of 12 lbs indicated on the Si brochure from the peg perego website :)

For a similar price, I'd choose the Si ($280) over the Dazzle ($250)--it's 3 lb lighter, bigger hood and stands upright when folded. I love the seat pattern on the Dazzle but you don't see it when they're sitting on it. I almost bought the Dazzle on Shnoop.com when it was on last week for $90 (but it sold out while I was trying to decide), so if you could find a good deal on Ebay or elsewhere on the Dazzle it might be worth it. Because the Si is totally new you won't see any deals, and you'll have to wait until April (or later if there's some delay). I'm pretty happy with the Pop so the Dazzle should be even nicer. Good luck!

If you need it right now, there are a couple of people selling the Dazzle on Swap for around $100. April is a long way off, so you may be ready for a new stroller by then, anyway!;)

Why are people already selling their Razzle Dazzle? (That's the nickname I decided to give it). People usually hold on to their P3s and Quests (which tells me they are truly beloved). :D Do you think the steering is comparable to a Mac for the Si and Dazzle, or even better? My boys are 37 lbs and 40 lbs, so I guess I should also ask what the upper weight limit of these two beauties is.
