I'll be in the US and would like to find a store with a good selection of strollers. Any recommendations?

USA Baby on Miramar Road has a really good selection of strollers. Happy shopping! =)

I second USA Baby on Miramar. There are some other smaller children stores on Miramar that also have stroller but not nearly the selection that USA Baby has.

Anybody know if they have a zippys and vistas in their store? And BJC? We're also going to SD in a couple months and are hoping to try out these strollers in person!

They have the 2008 and 2009 Vista strollers there. They only have the older Zippy on the floor. But maybe they'll have the new one out by the time you are in SD. They said they have the new Zippy in stock (I wonder why they just don't display it?). I have seen some BJC strollers but since I wasn't in the market for one I didn't pay attention. I did notice they had the BJCM and BJCE with a toddler seat thing on it. =) Not sure if they are the newest models though.

If you are interested in seeing the newest Zippy then I found that Agana Baby on Clairemont Mesa Blvd. (about 10 minutes South of USA Baby) has it on their floor.

BTW, I think USA Baby is on the expensive side. They are selling the new Vista for $689 (plus SD tax of 7.75%). I've seen them everywhere else for $669 (and no tax online). Agana Baby is a smaller shop and are more willing to negotiate on price (like no tax for a cash payment). Agana doesn't carry the Vista though. And I don't think they have the BJC strollers there either. Good luck!

I heard USA Baby filed bankruptcy and some people are not getting their orders anymore and even lost their money. Does anyone know if this is true?

Good grief -- OP is in stroller-mecca and wants to purchase in NA? Huh, I'd rather buy from a European stroller mega-store anyday.

Well you know, the grass is always greener, and all that...Besides, it's probably cheaper here.

Euro taxes can get kinda crazy.

Baby gear in general is much cheaper in the US. Germany has 19% VAT and the Euro is better vs. the dollar. I'm interested in the MBUD and Easy Walker Duo and they are much cheaper to purchase in the US.

MamaBargains was selling the EW Duo for $217! And someone else was clearancing out the MBUD for 3-something, but they are all gone. There are still some pretty good deals around, though. Good time of year to buy.
