I just bought the Little Tummys brand and it says to refrigerate after opening...do I really need to do this? I'd rather not because I don't want to give DS something that is really cold. Plus, I don't want to have to run downstairs in the middle of the night and wait for it to warm up when he's screaming from gas pain.

Well, I kept it refrigerated, but I did pre-measure to save that extra step. I used the medi-nurser and always had a dose in the fridge door ready to go. DS didn't mind the cool.

eta--For definite gas, though, I found/find the simethicone drops (no fridge) very effective. I only used gripe juice if it seemed to be general tummy ache without gas.

I used a different brand, and never refrigerated. It was fine.
