Well, my fingers are crossed for that COBRA subsidy. It would make our lives so much easier and ease the pressure for me to find a job ASAP. We're looking at $1300 a month just for COBRA.

I'm not sure how I feel about the stimulus plan, but we are closing on our house on Monday and I reaaaally hope they make the homebuyer part retroactive so we qualify - does anyone know if that is likely?

I don't know if it will be retroactive but my interest in it waned considerably when I found out that it was merely a zero interest loan. You pay the money back in your taxes over the next 15 years. Yuck.
