Bike Trailer that Turns into a Jogging Stroller

I am looking to buy my husband a jogging stroller for his birthday. I figure that I can get a new jogging stroller out of it, too. I don't know much about bike trailers. I need some help! Any advice?

I know our Burley D'Lite does as does the Chariot. You have to buy the jogging wheel. I've never actually run with either of them.

Chariots are very popular around here, and it's what we're thinking of getting. They're sold just as the main part, the kits (bike hitch, swivel wheels, fixed wheel, skis (!), etc) are sold separately and at least one kit is necessary to be able to use the Chariot.

Based upon what you describe, you may also want to consider the Baby Jogger Switchback, which is among the easiest to convert from bike trailer to jogger.

We have a Chariot Cougar 2 and LOVE it.

Dh uses it to run and I use it for bike rides. We also have the strolling wheels which are great!
