SuperStructs v. plastic Tinker Toys

Is there any difference between Super Structs and the plastic Tinker Toys? They *look* pretty identical, but I want to make sure before I combine them in one tub. I'm tired of having two separate tubs if I could have them all in one. Thanks!

They do combine, and they seem identical except the colors are different.
